Weekend Updates: WPBooking Version 1.9.6 Updated with A Ton of Additional Improvements

Howdy WPBooking users!

Today, we are very excited to announce a ton of new updates that have been heavily requested by our community for some time. Just take a look to know what’s new in WPBooing 1.9.6!

1. Upgrade the Database

We have optimized the database to speed up the database performance for services. When customers install this version, it will appear a button in the admin dashboard to notice the update.

2. Update the Shortcode System Template

Refactoring the template system of shortcodes facilitates customization with the dev’s child theme

Create directories: wpbooking / emails / shortcodes / in child-theme to custom.

Add validate function by date when searching for Accommodation

When the user enters check in / out date, the system will find the Accommodation available during that date.

3. Add a Shortcode for the Room Type

When you enter room type code, the shortcode will display an element with a thumbnail, room type name. When clients click the button, it will be redirected to the page displaying the room in that category.

4. Display Tour Price Based on the Base Price

In previous versions, the tour price is shown by the adult or child price (whichever is lower will be displayed).
This version adds a field for admin to enter the base price to display for each tour.

5. Update the Stripe Addon

This add-on Stripe payment gateway allows you to accept credit cards directly on your site through your Stripe.com account. When purchasing downloads through the Stripe gateway for WordPress, users enter their credit card details during the checkout process and never leave your site, resulting in a better experience for the user, and more successful conversions for you. And now, WPBooking allows the customer to enter the credit card name:
